If you care about someone living with cancer

When someone you care about is diagnosed with cancer, you may find yourself in a new and unfamiliar role. It is common to feel stressed, overwhelmed, and confused as you navigate the changes that cancer brings. It is also common for family and friends to try to put their own feelings and needs aside in order to focus on their loved one. Over time, this can become unhealthy and impact your ability to care for others. It is important to take care of yourself.

We invite you to participate in our many programs that support you as you support others. You may want to consider:

  • Caregiver Support Group – an opportunity to meet other family and friends who are supporting a loved one with cancer
  • Healing Through Mindfulness – learn how to live a calmer, more peaceful existence.
  • Family Wellness – wellness classes for the entire family with children up to age 18 years.
  • Educational Speakers – view our calendar for a full listing of upcoming events
