Resource Center
Welcome to our Resource Center.
We have compiled some resources that may be helpful to you as to work to manage the effects of cancer in your life. We know that searching the internet for cancer information can be overwhelming at times. It is important to distinguish information from trusted websites versus misleading information. Please keep these tips in mind when evaluating information:
- Consider the source. One way to learn about an organization online is to read the page commonly titled, “About Us” on a website. Look for websites whose motivation is to educate and support users.
- Look for evidence. Choose information that is supported by facts and research rather than opinion.
- Stay current. New information is emerging all of the time. As a general rule of thumb, look for resources that are less than three years old.
