Healing Through Mindfulness

Mindfulness centers us in our own lives. We all want to live a calmer, more peaceful existence. This course follows a book focused on mindfulness principles and practices. During the class, participants work together to find the calm center within in the midst of even the most extreme storms. Participants share through discussion, the practice of meditation, and the examination of our emotions and relationships. This program will provide easy steps to practicing mindfulness in day-today living.

Healing Through Mindfulness II

This program is modeled on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program established by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Mass. Medical School. This 8 week course is designed to provide a community of learning and practice in the cultivation of mindfulness and present moment awareness. Research supports the positive effects that practice of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction has on the immune system.
