Mindfulness involves being aware of the thoughts and emotions that arise in day to day life. Studies have demonstrated that cancer patients and caregivers who practice Mindfulness Meditation can learn new ways to work with stress, fatigue, sleep and mood. This six week series developed by Timothy Pedigo PhD, teaches cancer survivors and their family members about mindfulness and how to practice it to achieve the full benefits. This class is appropriate for both those in treatment and out of treatment and their families.
