Wellness House Library

The Wellness House library is available for all and carries a variety of books, audiotapes and CDs.  Our library strives to provide access to high quality health-related information, materials, and supportive resources.

You are welcome to stop by anytime Wellness House is open to visit the library.  Books can be checked out for up to two weeks at a time. You can also search our online database.

Wig Boutique

Sponsored by the American Cancer Society and located at Wellness House, the Wig Boutique offers brand new wigs. The wigs are available in many styles and colors and are offered at no charge. Weekday, evening, and some weekend appointments are available. To make an appointment at the wig boutique, please call 630-323-5150.

Look Good Feel Better

Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this class teaches those in active treatment how to manage hair, nail, and skin changes due to cancer treatment. Participants receive make-over tips and personal attention from a certified cosmetologist. Participants will also use and take home complimentary cosmetic kits in their appropriate skin tones with helpful instruction booklets. This hands-on workshop includes skin care/make-up application lesson, demonstration of options for dealing with hair loss, and nail care techniques.
