Teen Talk
Because of their developmental stage, the experience of a family member having cancer is different for teens than for younger children. Teen Talk is a support group for teens ages 13-18 who have a family member with cancer. The group provides teens with the opportunity to connect with other teens who are going through similar situations, to discuss the impact cancer has on their family, and to learn about healthy coping strategies to manage stress and changes they are dealing with.
Please contact the Family Matters Program Associate at 630-654-5118 to learn more and for group days and times.
