Wellness House offers an extensive range of programs for practically every aspect of living with cancer, from support to connecting with others to nutrition classes and exercise. All staffed by experts in their fields, our programs fall under five areas and take place all day nearly every day of the week. Family members are encouraged to attend as well.
Classes, workshops, and expert speakers covering the essentials of dealing with cancer including updates on the latest treatments, help with practical issues, and managing side effects.
Classes designed to help you maintain an active and healthy lifestyle, from nutrition strategies to exercise classes to activities that help calm the body and mind.
You don’t have to have cancer to be affected by it. Family Matters is a comprehensive group of educational and supportive programs that help children and families learn about cancer and express their feelings in a safe and supportive environment.
Class and groups that lessen the stress brought on by cancer, from meditation to self-expression through art.
Sometimes you just want to feel connected to someone. Weekly and monthly groups provide an opportunity to share stories and experiences with others touched by cancer.
Whether you are diagnosed with cancer yourself or are a loved one of someone diagnosed, we welcome you and hope that you will find Wellness House helpful as you work to respond to your personal experience of cancer in the best way possible.
