Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery is a well-researched mind-body strategy that uses the imagination in many different ways to effectively handle stress and stimulate self-healing throughout the cancer experience. Each week the guided imagery experience will focus on a different wellness goal and include time for questions and discussion. Some of the topics include coping with pain and symptoms, dealing with fear and anxiety, increasing body awareness, promoting optimism and positive thinking and reducing emotional distress.

Anyone experience the effects of cancer and its treatment are invited to drop into this class.

Guided Imagery meets on Tuesdays at 11:30am-12:30pm.
